The Outlook for 2008

The growth of such a young sport as SuperMoto is significant.

Promoter Youthstream’s work and its cooperation with FIM gave SuperMoto a boost, which is continuing with the European SuperMoto Championship, held together with the World series. With the arrival of massive amounts of television and print media coverage the FIM SuperMoto World Championship is experiencing an important development, and is opening a window on the global scene. The display of the latest technology in the pits, the colourful liveries of the branded bikes and hospitalities, the breathtaking action on track and many other factors raise SuperMoto’s chances of becoming a top sport.

The growth will continue in 2008 with a calendar of 10 rounds: the FIM SuperMoto World Championship will include 8 different countries.
