FIM SUPERMOTO OF NATIONS TECHNICAL INFORMATION  



The FIM Supermoto of Nations is composed of 3 races:
- Race 1 including S1 and S2
- Race 2 including S2 and Open
- Race 3 including Open and S1

  • Each race is run during around 20 minutes. The actual duration of footage for race 1 and 2 is 1 hour and the single race 3 is 1 hour as well starting on the hour, including presentation & podium ceremony.
     
  • Live feed with English commentary opens at 15:00 and closes at 17:00 local time; it includes the 3 races of S1, S2 & Open for a total of 2 hours of live coverage in a row.
     
  • The up & down links and satellite coordination are managed directly by EBU (European
    Broadcasting Union).
  •  
  • Unilateral & News feeds are available.
     
  • Delayed on tape (Betacam SP PAL and NTSC) of each race is available and delivered during the week after the event.
     
  • A 52’ highlights of the event is edited with mixed English commentary and Int’l Sound delivered on tape (Betacam SP Pal and NTSC) during the week after the event. Tapes of the 52’ highlights are delivered with English time coded Script and Music Cue Sheet.
     
  • SMONs results and press releases are supplied on the website www.supermotos1.info

    GRAND PRIX TECHNICAL INFORMATION



    Each Grand Prix is composed of 2 classes: S1 for over 175cc up to 250cc 2-stroke engines and over 290cc up to 450cc 4-stroke engines. S2 is reserved to free of choice category engines according to FIM technical rules.

  • For each class 2 races are run during around 30 minutes. The actual duration of footage for every race is of 1 hour, starting on the hour, including presentation & podium ceremony.
     
  • Live feed with English commentary available opens at 15:00 and closes at 17.00 local time; it includes the S1 & S2 Races 2 with highlights of races 1 of both classes, for a total of 2 hours of live coverage.
     
  • The up & down links and satellite coordination are managed directly by EBU (European Broadcasting Union).
